Arthur Nihoul

researcher

As an urban planner with a sociological background (MA degree in sociology), he has the ability to analyse complex social problems and design appropriate solutions. He sees the city as the result of interactions between individuals. A good urban project has therefore to take in consideration the diversity of citizens and understand what the inhabitants want.  His main research topics concern the use of public space, the housing accessibility and the sustainable mobility. Coming from Brussels, his projects have mainly focused on Belgium and its capital. He has also taken part in international projects in Canada and Tunisia as well as in a Franco-German project contributing to an European Interreg project on the Greater Region of Luxembourg. He has been living in Berlin for 2 years now.
